Her Story

Real, raw, and refusing to stay quiet.

Cindy Bozell writes the way she lives — honestly. In No Rain, No Roses, she opens up about childhood trauma, a season of walking away from faith altogether, and a marriage marked by both emotional and physical abuse. She doesn't tell her story to be pitied. She tells it because she believes it can be someone else's seed of hope.

Cindy believes her God-given assignment is to minister to women in mentally or physically abusive relationships — to sit with them at the table, coffee in hand, and remind them that healing, forgiveness, faith, restoration, and redemption are still possible on the other side of the storm.

That calling led her to found Hope in the Dark Ministries, through which she continues to support, encourage, and advocate for women rebuilding their lives after abuse.

“Her prayer is to give God all the glory and to help women leave hopelessness behind — holding on to her heavenly Father's hand, kicking and screaming, as she walks through the path of healing.” — Cindy's mission, from the book
